Dr. Kim Lucas appointed to the Massachusetts Board of Early Education and Care
Dr. Kim Lucas, Professor of the Practice in Public Policy and Economic Justice in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, has been appointed by Governor Maura Healey to the Massachusetts Board of Early Education and Care. Education Secretary Patrick Tutwiler welcomed Lucas as an expert in the evaluation and assessment of successful preschool education programs. In this crucial role, she will help shape policies and regulations related to the state’s early education and care programs, contributing to Massachusetts’ nation-leading efforts in early childhood education reform.
