This full-day workshop is designed to serve those who are members of groups whose representation in STEM education or employment is smaller than their representation in the U.S. population. For example, this includes women, racial and ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities, first-generation students, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and those who support the efforts for a more diverse workforce.<\/p>\n<p>The conference includes sessions discussing the following topics:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Finding institutional fit<br \/>\n\u2022 Developing appropriate CV structure and content<br \/>\n\u2022 Crafting compelling research, teaching, and diversity statements<br \/>\n\u2022 Perfecting Interviewing skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Honing time management skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Identifying an action plan for first year faculty<br \/>\n\u2022 Negotiating a job offer<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be accepted until\u00a0<strong>June 1st, 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If selected for the workshop, you will be notified via email and provided directions on how to register.
