Breaking Barriers: Dr. Mona Minkara Addresses United Nations General Assembly on Women and Girls in Science

We are thrilled to share the remarkable achievements of Dr. Mona Minkara, Assistant Professor in Bioengineering and Affiliated Faculty in Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Northeastern University. Dr. Minkara presented as Director of Science in Braille. Her address focused on enhancing the role of women and girls in science for peace and sustainability, a cause she champions fervently.

In an application of this intention, Dr. Minkara showcased her groundbreaking research during the 2024 Biophysical Society Conference in Philadelphia on February 11th, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
