STRIDE Workshop

The Strategies and Tactics for Recruiting to Improve Diversity and Excellence (STRIDE) workshop focuses on the damaging effects of implicit bias in faculty searches, new research on this topic that can positively impact search committees, and creative solutions for the mitigation of bias. The workshop has also been updated to address best practices for conducting online interviews, and campus visits.
All STRIDE sessions for the 2020-2021 academic year will be conducted VIRTUALLY via Zoom. Because of the new material now included in the STRIDE Workshop, search committee members who have previously attended a STRIDE workshop are encouraged to attend again and update their knowledge base.
