New England Future Faculty Workshop

Jul 27 — Jul 28

This virtual two-day conference is for postdoctoral fellows and advanced graduate students interested in faculty careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Humanities.

Accepted applicants will be notified by mid-June & directed to a registration site where they will pay a fee of $50 to confirm their participation. Registration fee waivers are available if requested.

Northeastern University is committed to cultivating talent and promoting the full inclusion of excellence. This workshop is designed to serve those who are members of groups whose representation in faculty positions is smaller than their representation in the U.S. population. This includes women, racial and ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities, first-generation students, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The workshop is sponsored by Northeastern University’s ADVANCE Office of Faculty Development, Research Corp for Scientific Advancement, and Northeastern University Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (with confirmation of sponsorship by other schools and organizations pending), and it is presented in partnership with Harvard Medical School.
The workshop will remain virtual in 2022.
