Directions
The 2025 New Faculty Orientation, offered by the Office of the Provost, consists of a three-day event. While Monday, August 18, will be held remotely, Tuesday, August 19, and Wednesday, August 20, will be held in-person on the Boston campus.
If you plan to drive to campus for college or departmental events, you should park in the Columbus Garage located at 795 Columbus Avenue, directly across the street from the Lightview Apartment Building. Complimentary parking is available for Columbus Garage, which is reserved for faculty, staff, and students. This is the only parking area that will have complimentary parking. Please use the parking pass linked below.
If you take public transportation, be sure to visit the MBTA Alerts website for updates on transportation service.
Take the MBTA subway Green Line āEā service to the Northeastern University stop or the Orange Line service to the Ruggles stop. Additional public transportation options can be found on the MBTA website.

Complementary Parking Access for Orientation: (August 19 ā 20, 2025)
The parking pass linked above allows for free parking at the Columbus Garage (795 Columbus Avenue) from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, and Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
The pass can be printed or scanned on your phone. Upon entry to the garage, pull a ticket as you normally would. When exiting, scan your entry ticket and then the barcode on the complimentary parking pass.
Navigating Campus
At your convenience, consider registering for an in-person tour of the Boston campus led by a current student Husky Ambassador. Tour information can be found on the Northeastern University Admissions website.
